Lesson example 2:

Let us work about center and developement:

1. e4 Nf6

The center is very important in chess, so e5 sharing it had been more usual. 2..Nf6 could seem no so good, because is developing a piece that can be easily attacked, then black waste time.

2 e5 Nd5 3.c4 Nb6 4.f4 White got a big center attacking the white knight, it gives white space and attacking chances, but also is true that a big center can have more chances for having weaknesses, for being attacked. That could have been 2..Nf6 idea. Then a big center not always is the best, its good only if its enough solid. each time we moved a pawn, we dont move a piece, like white here, where there are many pawn moves instead developing pieces, and that could be no so good to long time. Could have been more evened playing 3.d4 d6 4.Nf3, and white ocuupied the center too, but avoided to adopt a so big center with c4 and f4, priorizing the piece developement with Nf3.
4..d6 Black already is attacking white center 5.Nf3 Ag4.

5.Nf3 was a right developement move, reforcing the cneter control. 5..Bg4 also is a correct developement move, developing a piece to the center, but also pinning the knight, what is a white center defender, then with Bg4 black follow with the plan for attackinn white center.
6.d4 white follows adopting a big center. 6..dxe5 7. fxe5 Axf3

and now white cant take in f3 with queen, becuase d4 would be hanging, then need to take with pawn weakenning the pawn structure and a future 0-0. Then already can be noticed white center was no so solid, and adopting a so big center no so good. Of course if black had not played strongly for attack white center, and for example had played h6, what is not a developement move (waste of time) or Nbd7, moving again a already developed piece, whtie could have consolidate the cneter for example with Be3 (Avoiding move agian a not developement piece and to aovid waste of time in the openning, are stanmdard developement rules, that must be followed in general). Black did full usefull developement moves and also in relation with the white cneter attacking plan.
8. gxf3 Nc6 another right developement move, a piece to the cneter, and also consistent with the center attacking plan  9. Be3 trying to defend the center 9..e6 10. Be2 Qh4+ 11.Bf2 Qf4.

Black idea is to get the queen out d6, maintianing the pressure on d4, from f4, for having 0-0-0 later (that is coming now) and then the pressure on d4 could be too much and whtie could lose it. then finally we can notice, the white big center turned weak, and had been better adopting a more solid, evened center, with e5,d4 but without c4,f4, like was mentioned earlier.
